The HollowsI must confess that I did not realise that this book is in the Horror Genre. I am a fan of Edgar Allan Poe and Stephen King and I struggled to read and even finish “The Hollows” but I did! And it is. A Horror-ible book. To be fair if you like the North of England, and horrible winter weather. If you prefer a phenomenal amount of gratuitous profanities, if you revel in the snapping and crunching of bones, if you are knowledgeable about various types of weapons, if you’ve a passing interest in Latin, Phoenician, and Anglo-Saxon languages this may well be the book for you. It was not one for me and I would pass on Daniel Church’s next book.
