More tragedy than comedy
The UnderstudyI enjoyed this book about a rather ineffectual actor, Stephen, who is understudy to an egotistical, good looking, charismatic, cocaine snorting, insufferable actor. Steven irritated me with his blandness more often than not, but I did empathise with him - and it was light relief after THE HEAVY ONE.
